Kasih Sofea Helmi

My name is Kasih Sofea Helmi Binti Izzanee Helmi. You may call me Kasih. I am a proud alumni of SASTRA. I joined SASTRA Fellowship during my last year in school at SMK Taman Ehsan in 2018. Personally, I felt that year was a hectic year since I have participated in various clubs and society beside ensuring I am able to focus on my SPM.

However, by joining SASTRA Fellowship, I discover new things about myself and have gain confidence, and it was definitely due to the Fellowship modules I attended. The modules are creative and innovative that allowed  my self to involve actively. SASTRA modules was more than just studying in a classroom. For example, SASTRA held various programs like "a day camp" at our schools so that more students were able to join the programs rather than doing it on the weekend. I also led as the fascilitator in various programs and during my first time, I felt fun and was confident to speak infront a large crowd. I also was the master of ceremony for the closing ceremony with various VIP guests. Despite my involvement in SASTRA Fellowship and other clubs and societies, I manage to complete my SPM with 9 A's. I feel blessed and proud of myself for not giving up till the end and keep moving forward. SASTRA Fellowship taught me how to use my time wisely and how to build my own career path by understanding my capabilties and applying in a strategic manner. At present, I am studying at the International Islamic Univerisity of Malaysia in foundation in English as International Communication (ENCOM) located at CFS IIUM Gambang, Pahang. 

I highly recommend the younger generation to participate in SASTRA Fellowship. It will surely help you in finding yourself and build your own career plan. furthemore, the exposure of the real world is different to just classroom education. I am now volunteering as an proud SASTRA Ambassador and I would like to say, " Believe in yourself and put your best effort in anything you do.
